Dijital Çağda Kompozit Portreler

Abstract

Yaklaşık elli yıldır
dijital teknolojilerin sanat ortamına müdahalesi ile sanatçının kendisi,
izleyici, malzeme, ortam ve anlayışlar dönüşmekte, sınırlar ortadan kalkmakta
ve bu süreçte portre sanatı da yeniden çözümlenmektedir. Tarihin her döneminde
olduğu gibi, bugün de portreler, dijital kimlikleri ve yeniden tanımlanan
bedenleri ile bireylerin ve deneyimlerin öyküsünü aktarmaya devam etmektedir.
Dijital teknolojiler, insan yüzünün bir yansıması olarak portrelerin üretim ve
tüketimine ilişkin birçok olasılık sunmaktadır. Çok sayıda görüntüden tek bir
imaj üretimi bağlamında kompozit portreler, bir çok farklı kimliğin ve
gerçekliğin bir arada sunulduğu sanal varoluşlar olarak ölümsüzlüğe
kavuşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada literatür tarama modeli kullanılarak, Nancy Burson,
Orlan ve Eva-Franco Mattes çiftinin dijital portrelerine ilişkin yazılı ve
çevrimiçi kaynaklar, dijital çağda portrenin dönüşümünü yorumlamak üzere
incelenmiştir.
