FT-IR SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF M(1,6-HDT)Ni(CN)4 COMPLEXES (M = Ni, Cd, Co, Mn and Zn)

Abstract

In this study Hofmann-type complexes, formulated as M(1,6-HDT)Ni(CN)4 (M = Ni, Cd, Co, Mn and Zn), are obtained chemically for the first time. Infrared spectra of the obtained complexes are recorded in the interval 4000–400 cm-1. The spectral investigations show that the structure of complexes consists of M-Ni(CN)4∞ polymeric layers with the ligand molecules bound to metal, through the S atom.

M(1,6-HEXANEDİTHİOL)Ni(CN)4 BİLEŞİKLERİNİN KIRMIZIALTI SPEKTROSKOPİSİ İLE İNCELENMESİ (M=Ni, Cd, Co, Mn VE Zn)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, genel formülü M(1,6-Hexanedithiol)Ni(CN)4 (M = Ni, Cd, Co,
Mn ve Zn) olan Hofmann-tipi bileşikler kimyasal yollardan ilk kez elde edildi. Elde
edilen bileşiklerin kırmızıaltı spektrumları, 4000 cm-1- 400 cm-1 bölgesinde kaydedildi.
Spektrumların incelenmesi, bileşik yapılarının │M-Ni(CN)4│∞ polimerik tabakalardan
oluştuğunu ve ligand molekülünün, kare düzlemsel yapıdaki metal atomlarına kükürt
atomlarından bağlandığını göstermektedir.
