RECORDED ROTIFER SPECIES FROM SOME AQUATIC HABITATS (ŞEKER POND, REŞADİYE POND, ZİNCİDERE POND, MİMARSİNAN PARK POOL, HİSARCIK STREAM, KUMALI PARK POOL) IN KAYSERI

Year 2009, Volume: 4 Issue: 1, 54 - 58, 08.06.2009

Abstract

Thirty-seven species belonging to the phylum Rotifera were recorded from 6 water bodies in Kayseri, (Central Anatolia, Turkey). Rotifera samples were collected by using a plankton net (55 µ pore sized) in July 2007. While the most species richness (19 species) was found in Şeker Pond, species richness was observed the less in Mimarsinan Park pool and Zincidere Pond with 3 species.

Abstract

Kayseri (Orta Anadolu, Türkiye)’den 6 su bölgesinden Rotifera şubesine ait 37 tür kaydedilmiştir. Rotifer örnekleri, Eylül 2007 içerisinde 55 µm göz açıklığına sahip plankton kepçesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. En fazla tür Şeker Göleti’nde (19 tür) bulunurken, en az tür Mimarsinan Parkı havuzu (3 tür) ve Zincidere Göleti’nde (3 tür) bulunmuştur
