Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinin Depremselliği ve Deprem Tehlike Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinin sismik riski ve sismisitesinin uzaysal dağılımı ele alınmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 1964-2008 yılları arasında bölgede meydana gelen ve magnitüdü M>4 olan deprem verileri kullanılmıştır. Depremsellik parametrelerinin belirlenmesi için çalışma alanı 253 alt bölgeye ayrılmıştır. Her bir alt alan için, Gutenberg-Richter magnitüd-frekans bağıntısındaki a ve b parametreleri hem En Küçük Kareler yöntemi ile hem de yeni geliştirilen Kaltek metodu kullanılarak hesaplanmış ve her iki yöntemle elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Alternatif metod olan Kaltek'den elde edilen sonuçlar çalışma alanının tektonik yapısı ve deprem aktivitesi ile çok daha iyi uyum göstermiştir. Bölgede en düşük, en yüksek ve ortalama b değeri sırasıyla bmin=0.8, bmax=1.26 and bavr=1 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Son olarak Poisson modeli kullanılarak çalışma alanı içerisinde M>6,5 depremin 100 yıllık bir süreçte oluşma riski ve dönüş peryotları hesaplanarak haritalanmıştır. Çalışma alanında M>6.5 bir depremin oluşma riski %70-75 ve dönüş peryodu da 50 yıldan daha az olarak Erzincan-Erzurum-Muş-Elazığ alanında bulunmuştur.
