General Rules
1. The order of elements in the work should be as follows:
1.1. English Title
1.2. Abstract
1.3. Keywords
1.4. Turkish Title
1.5. Abstract
1.6. Keywords
1.7. Body Text
1.8. Conclusion
1.9. References
2. The first letter of all headings in the paper should be capitalised, and headings should be in 11-point font.
3. The paper should be in A4 format.
4. Margins should be 3 cm on all sides.
5. If a page footnote is used for the title of the work, an asterisk (*) should be used.
6. No header or footer should be added.
7. Page numbers should not be added.
8. Arabic words and texts in the work should be written in Traditional Arabic font, size 12. Other spelling rules for Arabic words are the same as the rules below.
Title of the Work
1. The title of the work should be formatted according to the ISNAD Citation 2 System; it should be set to 0 pt above, 6 pt below, and no indentation; it should be centred. It should be in Palatino Bold font, size 11 pt.
2. Headings should be formatted according to the ISNAD 2 Citation System; they should be set with 0 pt top and bottom margins and no indentation; they should be justified on both sides. Headings should be in Palatino Bold font, size 11.
3. Headings should be as short as possible but should reflect the subject matter; double quotation marks (“-”) or slashes (/) should not be used in the text. Colons (:) may be used if deemed necessary.
4. Headings (except for Abstract, Summary, Introduction, Conclusion, and References) should be numbered using the decimal system, as follows: ‘1. 2. 3.; 1.1., 1.2.; 1.2.1.’. A space should be left between the heading number and the first letter of the heading.
5. Only the first letter of the words in the headings should be capitalised. Italics should not be used.
Abstract
1. It should be between 500 and 750 words. It should not exceed 750 words or 5000 characters (including spaces).
2. The abstract should be written in Palatino font, size 9; it should be justified, single-spaced and without indentation.
The Abstract and Summary sections of the study should include the following:
1. Presentation of the general framework or problem of the study;
2. Clear statement of the problem/purpose;
3. Answer to the question: What is the gap in the literature and how will your study contribute to filling this gap and solving the problem?
4. Details of the approach followed;
5. The results achieved in the study.
Keywords
1. Should be written in 9-point Palatino font; they should be justified, single-spaced, and without indentation. They should consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 words.
2. Keywords assist in the electronic scanning and indexing of the publication and are of great importance in enabling researchers to find the publication. For this reason, concepts that accurately reflect the relevant article should be selected and listed from general to specific.
3. The first concept must be the name of the scientific field. The second concept should be determined as the subject, school of thought, person, or work title reflecting the research. Concepts that fully reflect the content of the article should then be added.
4. If the work is focused on a person or work, the name of the relevant work and author must be included as keywords.
5. Words that do not have a conceptual meaning beyond their literal meaning when used alone should not be chosen as concepts.
6. Each word should begin with a capital letter; a comma should be placed after each word.
Abstract
1. It should be between 500 and 750 words. It should not exceed 750 words or 5000 characters (including spaces).

Body Text
1. It should be written in Palatino font size 12; it should be aligned on both sides and have 1.15 line spacing.
2. Spacing should be 0 nk above and 6 nk below.
3. The body text length should be a minimum of 5,000 and a maximum of 9,000 words, excluding the abstract and references. The word limit for English articles is a maximum of 12,000 words.
4. The final decision on articles exceeding the word limit is made by the editorial board.
Direct Quotations
1. All direct quotations must be made in accordance with the ISNAD Citation 2 System.
2. If the direct quotation is a paragraph or if the author wishes to use the direct quotation as a separate paragraph, it should be written in 10-point Palatino font; it should be aligned on both sides and have single line spacing. The paragraph should have no indentation at the beginning, and the entire paragraph should be indented 2 cm from both the left and right sides; spacing should be 0 pt above and 6 pt below.
Footnotes
1. Footnotes should be written in Palatino font size 9; they should be justified and single-spaced. Spacing should be set to 0 pt at the top and bottom.
2. The footnote style should be in accordance with the ISNAD Citation 2 System.
3. Arabic words in footnotes and references should be in 10-point Traditional Arabic font.
4. Only the end-of-page reference system should be used.
Tables, Figures and Images
1. They should be arranged in accordance with the ISNAD Citation 2 System.
2. The content of tables, figures and images should be written in 10-point Palatino font; they should be aligned on both sides.
3. Table, figure and image captions and, if applicable, sources should be written in Palatino font size 8; they should be justified, with 1.15 line spacing, and 0 pt top and bottom margins.
4. Table, figure and image captions should be numbered as “Table 1.”, “Figure 1.”, “Image 1.”, etc., and only the numbering, i.e. “Table 1.”, etc., should be in bold.
5. Tables should not extend beyond the writing area (page margins should not be violated), with top and bottom margins set to 0 pt and 6 pt, respectively. Tables smaller than the page writing area should be left-aligned.
Abbreviations
1. They should be made as specified in the ISNAD Citation 2 System; if the abbreviation is not specified in the ISNAD Citation 2 System, the author's preference should be stated in the explanation section when submitting the article.
2. No abbreviations should be made in the names of any works other than encyclopaedias and classical works that are quoted.
Conclusion
1. A conclusion section is mandatory.
2. The conclusion reached by the study or the solution proposed should be clearly stated.
3. The conclusion should not be a summary of the study.
References
1. The references should begin on the page following the conclusion section.
2. References should be written in Palatino font, size 9; they should be justified on both sides and single-spaced.
3. For each reference, the first line should be flush left, and subsequent lines should be indented 1.25 cm from the left. For each reference, the spacing should be 0 pt above and 6 pt below.
4. If multiple works by one author are included in the references, the author's name should be repeated for each work.
5. References should be organised according to the ISNAD Citation 2 System.
6. If available, DOI numbers should be added to articles included in the reference list in accordance with the ISNAD Citation 2 System.
7. The suffix “el” should not be used in the surname of the author of the work cited in the reference list and footnotes.
8. When writing Arabic source names, as a general rule, only the first letter of the first word should be capitalised. However, if there is a proper name (person, country, city, or another book title) within the book title, it should also be capitalised. Work titles should be formatted in italics.
9. References to journals should not include the day and month.
10. Roman numerals should not be used for volumes and issues when citing journals.
11. No spaces should be left before or after the hyphen (-) placed between the names of two authors, translators, editors, investigators, etc. in the bibliography.
