Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to comparatively evaluate the oral health behavior and knowledge levels of Faculty of Medicine (FM) and Faculty of Dentistry (FD) students.
Material and Method: A total of 821 volunteers, FM and FD the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students participated in the study. Data were obtained online through a questionnaire form sent to each individual. Evaluation was made using descriptive statistics (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and chi-square test.
Results: The most common oral problems in volunteers were found to be tooth decay and toothache. In both faculties, oral health knowledge increased significantly as the class progressed (p<0.05). It was found that FD students were generally better than FM students in terms of oral health behavior characteristics (except for toothbrush type selection, having oral health problems and having teeth extracted) (p<0.05). It was determined that FM and FD students oral health knowledge increased as the class grew. It was noted that FD students oral health knowledge was proportionally higher compared to FM students.
Conclusion: Physicians inform and educate the public about oral and dental health. When medical doctors and dentists provide services together within the scope of the two-way relationship between oral health and systemic health, the improvement of individual oral health knowledge levels and behaviors will make a significant contribution.

Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Tıp Fakültesi (TF) ve Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi (DHF) öğrencilerinin ağız sağlığı davranış ve bilgi düzeylerinin karşılaştırmalı değerlendirilmesidir.
Materyal ve Metod: Çalışmaya TF ve DHF 1, 2 ve 3. Sınıf öğrencisi toplam 821 gönüllü katıldı. Veriler her bireye gönderilen anket formu aracılığıyla online elde edildi.
