Abstract

Ahmet Serel, Meltem Çetin, Mehmet Tahoğlu, Muzaffer Keçelioğlu Özet Basit renal fdstli 34 hastaya ultrasonografi esliğinde perkütan aspirasyon ve % 96 'hk etanol ile skleroterapi uygulandı. Renal kist sıvılarının biyokimyasal, mikrobiyolojik ve sitopatolojik değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Hastaların hepsi ultrasonla takip edildi. Kist sıvısındaki glukoz, üre azotu ve klor konsantrasyonlarının seruma göre daha yüksek, total protein, kalsiyum, total lipit ve laktik dehidrogenaz düzeyleri serum değerlerine göre daha düşük idi. Kreatinin, ürik asit, sodyum ve potasyum düzeyleri serumdakinden farklı değildi. Kist sıvısı kültürlerinde üreme olmadı ve sitolojik incelemede malignite saptanmadı. Tedavi sonrası takipte 6 hastada rekürrens saptandı. Rekürrens saptanan hastalarla saptanmayanlar arasında kistin biyokimyasal kompozisyonu açısından fark yoktu. Sonuç olarak bulgularımız basit renal kist sıvısının tam bir serum olmadığını ve kistin rekürrensi ile biyokimyasal bulgular arasında bir ilişki bulunmadığını gösterdi. Anahtar Kelimeler: Basit renal Mst, biyokimyasal analiz, rekürrens Abstract Clioical and Laboratory Investigation of Symptomatic Siraple Renal Cysts Percutaneous aspiration and sclerotherapy with 96 % ethanol \vere performed in 34 patients with simple renal cysts under ultrasound guidance. The renal cystic fluids \vere examined biochemicaliy, microbiologically and cytologically. The patients were followed up by ultrasound. Although the cyst fluidlevels ofglucose, urea nitrogen andchloride were higher than those in the serum, total protein, calcium, total lipid and lactic dehydrogenase levels were lower than those in the serum. Creatinine, uric acid, sodium and potassium levels were not different those of serum. The cyst fluid cultures remained sterile and cytologic findings were negative \vith regard to malignancy. The recurrence of cyst in 6 patients ~was determined in follow-up period after treatment. There \vas not difference between the patients with and \vithout recurrence according to the biochemical composition of cyst. in conclusion, our results showed that simple renal cyst fluid is not totally serum, and that there was not any relation behveen the recurrence of cyst and biochemical findings.
