Abstract

Deri yaşlanması zaman içerisinde kaçınılmaz bir şekilde ortaya çıkan kompleks biyolojik bir olaydır. Biyolojik veya kronolojik yaşlanma olarak da bilinen ve genetik olarak programlanmış doğal bir süreç içerisinde oluşan intrinsik yaşlanma ve özellikle kronik solar maruziyet ve çevresel faktörlerin neden olduğu ekstrinsik yaşlanma şeklinde sınıflandırılmaktadır. Yetersiz beslenme, yoğun stres, hormonal faktörler, çevre kirliliği, sigara ve alkol kullanımı gibi destrüktif yaşam tarzı seçeneği deri yaşlanmasını etkileyen diğer faktörlerdir. Yaşlanma ile birlikte deride oluşan ve en çok göze çarpan değişiklikler kuruluk, ince ve derin kırışıklıklar ve normal elastikiyetin kaybıdır. Bu makalede deri yaşlanmasının etyopatogenezi, korunma yöntemleri ve tedavi seçenekleri gözden geçirilecektir. Anahtar kelimeler: Deri yaşlanması, etyopatogenez, tedavi. Abstract Skın agıng and treatment Skin aging is a complex biological phenomen which appears inevitably in the course of time. It can be classified as intrinsic (biologic, chronological) aging which is genetically programmed natural processes and extrinsic aging which occurs due to environmental reasons especially chronic exposure to sunlight. Poor nutrition, high stress levels, hormonal factors, environmental pollution, and destructive lifestyle choices, such as cigarette smoking or alcohol are the other factors which effect skin aging. The most noticable skin changes in the appearance of the skin with aging are dryness, fine and deep wrinkles and loss of the normal elasticity. In this article, etiopathogenesis, prevention methods and treatment options of skin aging are reviewed. Keywords: Skin aging, etiopathogenesis, treatment
