Özet

Çalışmamızda Isparta'daki iki kan merkezinde 1989-1994 yıllan arasında yapılan HIV testlerinin sonuçlarını değerlendirmek amacıyla kayıtları retrospektif olarak inceledik. HIV taraması için endirekt enzimimmünoassay-EIA-testi kullanılmıştı. Toplam 15 929 kişinin serumunda anti HIV araştırılmıştı. Bunların çoğu erkekti (15152; % 95). Testlerden 139 tanesi reaktif bulunmuştu (137 erkek 2 kadın). Bu 139 testin 137'sinde tamamlayıcı testler negatif bulunmuştu. Reaktif olgulardan sadece yurt dışında çalışan 57 yaşında bir erkek hasta ve karısında sonuçlar tamamlayıcı testlerle teyit edilmişti. Heteroseksüel bulaş söz konusu idi. ELISA metodu ile yalancı pozitiflik 1-5/100 000 olarak bildirilmiştir. Bizim çalışmamızda reaktif testlerin oranı % 0.87 bulunmuş ancak bunların sadece % l.43 'ünde gerçek pozitiflik teyit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak: 1-Yalancı pozitiflik standartların çok üzerindeydi, 2-Yalancı pozitifliğe yol açan nedenlerin incelenmesi gerekir.

Abstraçt



The HIV Test Results of the Blood Banks in Isparta

We examined data files to evaluate the results of HIV tests which were done in the blood banks in İsparta between the years 1989-1994. Indirect enzyme immunoassay-EIA had been used. Anti HIV test had been investigated in sera of total 15 929 people. Most of them were male (95 %, n: 15 152). The number of antiHIV tests which were found to be reactive was 139. Most of these 139 cases hadn't been confirmed as positive with further investigations. AntiHIV test had been detected positive in a 57 years old male patient who was living abroad with his wife. Their results had been confirmed with supplemental tests. There was a heterosexual contamination. False positivity has been notified as 1-5/100 000 with ELISA method. The ratio of reactive tests in our investigation was 0.87 %. In addition, most of the donors were male. We concluded that: 1-The ratio of reactivity was very high. 2-Investigation for the causes of false positivity is needed.
