ÖZET

Çalışmamızda çift m. piriformis ile ilgili her iki ekstiremitede iki piriformis kasının arasından geçen, yukarıdan ayrılan n. fîbularis (peroneus) communis olgusu rapor edildi. Alt ekstiremitede birçok kas iskelet yapısı ile ilişkilidir. Bu varyasyonun piriformis sendromunun gelişiminde pratik önemi olduğunu düşünmekteyiz. Uyluğun rotasyonu, uza¬nan m. piriformis ve ikiye bölünen kasın tendonları aralarında bulunan siniri sıkıştırmasıyla birlikte sıkıca bası uy¬gular. Sinirin sıkışması karekterestik siyatik ağrısının nedenidir. Bu tip vakalarda, tendonların kesilmesi ile hasta ra-hatlatılabilir. N.fibularis (peroneus) communis ile çift m. piriformis olgumuzu bu konuda yayınlanan literatürler eş¬liğinde yayınladık.

ABSTRACT


BİLATERAL VARIATION OF M. PİRİFORMİS AND NERVE FÃŽBULARİS

(PERENOUS) COMMUNES (CASE REPORT)

We repon a case with double piriformis muscles associated with the fîbularis (peroneus) communes nerve divi-ding high and passing between the two piriformis muscles in both of extremity. As many musculoskeletal structures may be involved in sciatica in the lower extremity. We consider this variation ofpractical significance far the deve-lopment of the 'piriformis syndrome'. in unvaried rotation of the thigh, the m. piriformis is extended and the tendons of the divided mitsele are tightly pressed together thus pinching the nerve between them. Pinching of the nerve causes the characteristic sciatic pain.In such a case, the patient can be relieved by cutting öne of the tendons. A case of do¬uble piriformis muscles with the fîbularis (peroneus) communes nerve has been reported, and the literatüre concer-ning the subject have been relieved.
