Diyaliz Hastalarında Egzersizin Önemi

Year 2010, Volume: 17 Issue: 1, 33 - 37, 30.03.2010

Abstract

Abstract

The Importance of Exercise In The Patients Receiving Dialysis

The cardiopulmonary capacity, muscle strength and functional capacity are reduced in the patients receiving dialysis due to chronic renal disease (CRD). Because of these problems, rehabilitation program must be included to the treatment of the patients with CRD. The rehabilitation program are consist of aerobic and strengthing exercises. In this review, we discussed the role and benefits of exercise in the patients receiving dialysis.

Key words:Dialysis, exercise, rehabilitation
