Leukemoid reaction is a hematological disorder, defined by a leukocyte count greater than 50,000 cells/mL and increased neutrophil ratio in blood smear, caused by reactive causes outside the bone marrow. The diagnostic work-up consists of the exclusion of chronic myelogenous leukemia and chronic neutrophilic leukemia and the detection of an underlying cause. The major causes of leukemoid reactions are severe infections, intoxications, malignancies, severe hemorrhage, or acute hemolysis. In our case, a 79 years old woman was admitted our hospital with leukemoid reaction and acute myocardial infarction. After detecting the underlying cause of leukemoid reaction, we thought the leukemoid reaction is secondary of acute myocardial infarction.

After detecting the underlying cause of leukemoid reaction, we thought the leukemoid reaction is secondary of akut myocardial infarktus.
