Abstract

Bladder cancer is the second most common cancer of
the urogenital system. At the time of diagnosis, 25%
of all bladder cancer has muscle invasion (MIBC).
Gold standard treatment in MIBC is radical cystectomy
and lymph node dissection. The type of urinary
diversion following radical cystectomy is decided by
evaluating the individual health status and bladder
cancer stage of the patients. In surgical anastomosis,
attention should be paid to ureters’ blood supplies and
ureteral necrosis should be avoided. In this case, after
radical cystectomy, the use of appendix due to ureter
necrosis in uretero-vesical anastomosis and literature
results were reviewed.

W POŞ SİSTEKTOMİ SONRASI GELİŞEN BİLATERAL ÜRETER NEKROZUNDA ÜRETEROAPENDIKS-APENDIKOVESICAL ANASTOMOZ VE LİTERATÜRÜN TARANMASI

Abstract

Mesane kanseri ürogenital sistemin en sık görülen
ikinci kanseridir. Tanı anında %25’ i kasa invaze
(KIMK) olan mesane kanserinde altın standart tedavi
radikal sistektomi ve lenf nodu diseksiyonudur. Radikal
sistektomi sonrası uygulanacak üriner diversiyon
tipine hastaların bireysel sağlık durumu ve mesane
kanseri evresi değerlendirilerek karar verilir. Üreter
anastomuzu esnasında beslenmesine dikkat edilmeli
ve üreter nekrozundan kaçınılmalıdır. Bu olguda radikal
sistektomi sonrası erken dönemde gelişen üreter
nekrozunda üreterovezikal anastomozda apendiks
kullanımı ve literatür sonuçları taranmıştır.
