Abstract

Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi 2016
yılından itibaren mezuniyet öncesi tıp eğitimi programının
akreditasyonu sürecine girerek tıp eğitimi kalitesini
daha da artırmayı amaçlamıştır. Bu kapsamda
mevcut imkân ve kabiliyetlere yenilerinin eklenmesi
ve var olanların da geliştirilmesi için çeşitli çalışmalar
başlatılmıştır.
Akreditasyon faaliyetlerini tamamlayıcı mahiyetteki bu
çalışmada Tıp Fakültesi Dekanlık Binası’nın tıp tarihi
görselleri ile donatılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Görseller birbirlerini tamamlayan üç farklı konseptle
yerleştirilmiştir. Bunlardan ilki; Dekanlık Binası’nın
hemen girişine yerleştirilen, ilk girişte öğrencileri ve
Dekanlık Binası’na giren diğer kişileri karşılayan iki
görseldir. İkinci konsept görsellerinde yine ilk olarak
üç büyük hekimin (Hipokrat, Galen ve İbn-i Sina) görseline
yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü grup görseller ise modern
tıbbın gelişimine büyük katkı sağlamış hekimler
ve diğer bilim insanları ile tıpta yaşanan önemli gelişmelerle
ilgilidir.
Fakülte girişinden itibaren yeni dersliklere (amfilere)
giden geniş, aydınlık ve ferah koridorun ve hemen alt
katında yer alan öğrenci dolaplarının bulunduğu geniş
salona giden koridorun tıp tarihi görselleri ile donatılması
tamamlanmıştır.
Sonuç olarak tıp tarihi ve tıp eğitimi açısından görsel
farkındalık oluşturan, öğrencilerin dikkatini tıp tarihine
çeken bu görseller Tıp Fakültesi Dekanlık Binası’nın
görünümünü zenginleştirmiş ve tıbbın tarihsel gelişim
sürecine verilen önemin bir göstergesi olarak var olan
kurum kimliği değerini ve kültürünü yansıtmaktadırlar.

Abstract

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine has
entered the accreditation process of the undergraduate
medical education program since 2016, aiming
to further increase the quality of medical education.
In this context, various studies have been initiated to
add new ones to existing opportunities and capabilities
and to develop existing ones.
In this study, which is complementary to the accreditation
activities, it is aimed to equip the Faculty of Medicine
Dean's Office with medical history visuals.
The visuals are placed with three different concepts
that complement each other. The first of these; These are two images placed at the entrance of the Dean's
Office, welcoming students and other people entering
the faculty building at the first entrance. In the second
concept images, again, the visuals of the three
great physicians (Hippocrates, Galen and Ibn-i Sina)
were included. The third group of images is about the
physicians and other scientists who have contributed
greatly to the development of modern medicine, and
the important developments in medicine.
From the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine Dean's
Office, the wide, bright and spacious corridor leading
to the new classrooms (lecture halls) and the corridor
leading to the large hall with student lockers on the
ground floor have been completed with medical history
visuals.
As a result, these visuals that create visual awareness
in terms of medical history and medical education,
draw the attention of students to the history of
medicine, enrich the appearance of the Dean's Office
and reflect the existing corporate identity value and
culture as an indicator of the importance given to the
historical development process of medicine.
