Effects of Vermicompost and Mycorrhiza on Plant Growth and Mineral Nutrition in Pepper

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of vermicompost and mycorrhiza separately and together on pepper growth and mineral nutrition. In the study mycorrhiza (0, 1 and 2 g pot -1) and vermicompost doses (0, 2.5, 5 and 10 g pot -1) was used. Plant nutrient analysis and fresh and dry weights were determined in leaf samples. According to results vermicompost and mycorrhiza applications had positive effects on fresh, dry weights and plant nutrition on pepper. Generally, pepper plants had more growth and higher nutrient concentrations with the highest vermicompost and mycorrhiza application.

Vermikompost ve Mikorizanın Biber Bitkisinin Gelişimi ile Mineral Beslenmesi Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada vermikompost ve mikorizanın ayrı ayrı ve birlikte kullanılmasıyla biber gelişimi ve mineral beslenmesi üzerine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, mikoriza ( 0, 1 ve 2 g saksı -1) ve vermikompost dozları ( 0, 2.5, 5 ve 10 g saksı -1) kullanılmıştır. Biber bitkisinde besin elementi ve biber bitkisi yaş ve kuru ağırlıkları belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde mikoriza ve vermikompost uygulamalarının biber bitkisi yaş, kuru ağırlığı ve besin elementi içerikleri üzerine olumlu etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Genel olarak en yüksek dozda uygulanan mikoriza ve vermikompost ile biber bitkisi daha fazla gelişmiş ve daha fazla besin elementleri elde edilmiştir.
