Upon the change in journal evaluation criteria for 2020, the TURKISH ACADEMIC NETWORK AND INFORMATION CENTER TR INDEX Committee requires that Ethics Committee Approval must be obtained for research in all disciplines, including social sciences, and that this approval must be specified and documented in the manuscript.

Upon this change in 8 within the scope of TR INDEX Evaluation Criteria, it is now mandatory to include the information about the permission in the Ethics Committee Approval (ethics committee name, date and issue number) in the manuscript for studies that require ethics committee approval, the process of which started in 2020. When uploading your study to our journal, you must upload your Ethics Committee document together with your manuscript file. If your study is not included in the study group that requires ethics committee approval, you must sign a declaration form stating this situation and indicate the relevant situation in your manuscript text.

Accordingly, it will be sent to our journal for publication in the next process;

(1) In all research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group study, observation, experiment, interview techniques,

(2) Research in which humans and animals (including materials/data) are used for experimental or other scientific purposes,

(3) In clinical trials in humans,

(4) In animal research,

(5) In accordance with the personal data protection law, information about the ethics committee should be included in the relevant sections of retrospective studies and research and publication ethics should be complied with.

- In case presentations to be submitted other than research manuscripts;

(1) indication of receipt of the informed consent form,

(2) obtaining and indicating permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others; and

(2) it should be stated that copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used.
