Öz

This study aims to investigate the impact of caffeine consumption on the endurance and agility of professional football players. This study employed coffee as the source of the caffeine. Ten individuals who are currently playing football for the Aydn Yldzspor Football Club make up the study group. These sportsmen underwent a 9-week test to gauge caffeine's immediate effects. The athletes' agility (T-test) and endurance (Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test) performances were assessed both before and after eating caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee. The One Way Anova was used to assess the data that had been acquired. The research showed that the agility and endurance assessments after consuming straight, caffeinated, and decaffeinated coffee resulted in statistically significant variations in the measurements. Additionally, it was discovered when the averages were looked at that coffee, whether it included caffeine or not, altered the averages. Therefore, it can be concluded that coffee consumption has a positive impact on athletes' performance, with caffeinated coffee having a greater impact than decaffeinated coffee.
