The study aims to evaluate the life quality of parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who take sports lesson and parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum who do not take sports lesson. The research was carried out in 4 centers in Istanbul. 80 volunteer individuals, parents of children with ASD diagnosis, who take sports education (n = 40), and those who do not take sports education (n = 40) participated in the study. The Socio-Demographic information form, and Quality of Life in Autism Questionnaire-Parent Version (QoLA) were used in the study. In the first part of the questionnaire, which consists of 2 parts, demographic features are examined, in the second part, Quality of Life in Autism Questionnaire-Parent Version (QoLA) Inventory, developed by Eapen et al. (2014) and adapted to Turkish by Özgür et al. (2017), is located. The skewness coefficient was used in the normality test of scale scores. In our normally distributed data, t-test and ANOVA was used for comparison between groups, while Post Hoc LSD was used for intra-group comparisons. The relationship between the quality of life and the difficulties that children experience with autism as a problem has been associated with Pearson correlation analysis. As a result, it was found that the problems faced in families with children with autism because of ASD are a factor that reduces the quality of life of the parents. Also, the fact that parents see ASD-related difficulties as a problem does not change according to demographic variables in general; it has been found that they differ according to their home, parental education, monthly income level.
