Ağız Ve Diş Sağlığı Hizmetlerinde HIV/AIDS Stigması

Abstract

HIV ve HIV ile ilişkili stigmalar söz konusu özneleri hayatın her alanında etkilediği gibi sağlık alanında da olumsuz etkilemektedir. Gündemde yerini edinmeye başlayan, diş hekimleri arasında ve ağız, diş sağlığı hizmetlerinde oluşan HIV fobisi ve damgalamalarının nedenini konuşmak ve olası etkilerini tartışmak gerekmektedir. HIV ile yaşayan insanların sağlığının geliştirilmesi ve cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklara karşı gelişen olumsuz tepkilerin devam etmemesi için bu konuda daha çok çalışma yapılması gerekmektedir.
