DENTİN HASSASİYETİNİN TEDAVİSİ VE LAZERLER

Abstract

Günümüzde,
toplumsal gelişmelere bağlı olarak dişlerin ağızda kalma süreleri uzadıkça
dentin hassasiyetinin görülme sıklığı da artmıştır. Dentin hassasiyeti;
herhangi bir dental defekt ya da patoloji ile açıklanamayan,
dişin termal, kimyasal,
mekanik ya da osmotik uyarılarla karşılaşması sonucu ekspoze dentin yüzeyinde
oluşan akut, ani, keskin ve kısa süreli bir ağrı şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır.



Dentin hassasiyetinin teşhisi sübjektif yöntemlere dayandığından
tedavi şeklinin belirlenmesi de güçtür. Tedavi amacıyla evde ya da hekim
tarafından uygulanan pek çok materyal ve yöntem geliştirilmiştir. Fakat bu
tekniklerin başarıya ulaşabilmesi için etiyoloji ve risk faktörlerinin elimine
edilmesi öncelikli olmalıdır. Bu derlemede hassasiyete sebep olan faktörlerin giderilmesine
ya da değiştirilmesine yönelik oluşturulan tedavi planlaması ve aralarında
pro-arjin ve novamin gibi yeni geliştirilmiş teknolojiler ile lazerlerin de yer
aldığı tedavi yöntemleri anlatılmaktadır.
