Beyazlatma sonrasında antioksidan uygulamasının minenin bağlanma kuvvetine etkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, % 10 sodyum askorbat (SA), %6.5 üzüm çekirdeği özü (ÜÇÖ) ve % 10 alfa-tokoferol (α-TP)’ ün farklı uygulama sürelerinde, beyazlatılmış mineye, adeziv rezin simanın makaslama bağlanma kuvvetini değerlendirmektir.Gereç ve Yöntemler: 108 adet insan üst santral dişi 9 gruba ayrılmıştır (n:12). Kontrol grubu dışındaki bütün gruplara % 40’lık hidrojen peroksit (HP) kullanarak beyazlatma işlemi uygulanmıştır. Gruplar; GK: Beyazlatma uygulanmadan restorasyon yapılan (kontrol grubu), GB: Beyazlatma yapıldıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, GT7g: Yapay tükürükte 7 gün bekledikten sonra restorasyon yapılan, GSA15: 15 dakika süreyle % 10 SA uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, GSA60: 60 dakika süreyle % 10 SA uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, Gα-TP15: 15 dakika süreyle % 10 α-TP uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, Gα-TP60: 60 dakika süreyle % 10 α-TP uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, GÜÇÖ15: 15 dakika süreyle % 6.5 ÜÇÖ uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan, GÜÇÖ60: 60 dakika süreyle %6.5 ÜÇÖ uygulandıktan sonra restorasyon yapılan. Antioksidan uygulamasından hemen sonra, indirekt restorasyonlar adeziv rezin simanla diş yüzeyine bağlanmıştır. Örnekler distile suda 24 saat 37°C’de bekletildikten sonra, makaslama bağlanma kuvveti testi yapılmıştır. Kırılma tipleri stereomikroskop altında değerlendirilmiştir. Influence of antioxidant treatment on bond strength to enamel after tooth bleaching

Abstract

Background: The objective of study was to evaluate the effect
of 10% sodium ascorbate (SA), 6.5 % grape seed extract (GS),
and 10% alpha-tocopherol (TP) on shear bond strength of
adhesive resin cement to bleached enamel in different
application times.
Methods: 108 human maxillary central teeth were randomly
divided into 9 groups (n=12). Except control group the labial
surface of all specimens in the other groups were bleached
with 40% hydrogen peroxide (HP). The groups are; GC:
Restored on unbleached enamel; GB: Restored immediately
after bleaching; GS7d: Restored after stored in artificial saliva
for 7 days; GSA15: Treated with 10%SA for 15 min; GSA60:
Treated with 10%SA for 60 min; Gα-TP15: Treated with 10%α-
TP for 15 min; Gα-TP60: Treated with 10%α-TP for 60 min;
GGS15: Treated with 6.5%GS for 15 min; GGS60: Treated with
6.5% GS for 60 min. After conditioning with antioxidant agents
indirect restorations were immediately bonded with adhesive
resin cement and stored in distilled water for 24 h at 37°C
before shear bond strength testing. Failure modes were
determined with stereomicroscope. The data were analyzed
using one-way analysis of variance, Levene and Tukey HSD
tests (α < .05).
