Kama lateral dişlerin direkt kompozit veneer restorasyonlarla tedavisi: olgu sunumu

Abstract

Kama lateraller, dental anomalilerle ilişkili olabilen, sıklıkla maksiller dişlerde rastlanan, normalden küçük, silindirik, sivri şekillere sahip olabilen dişlerdir. Tedavisinde seramik veya kompozit veneer restorasyonlar kullanılabilir. Seramik restorasyonlar doğal diş dokusunun daha fazla kaybına neden olması, maliyetli olması ve tamirinin zor olması nedeniyle, kama lateral tedavisinde ilk seçenek olarak tavsiye edilmemektedir. Bu vakada bilateral şekilde kama laterallere sahip hasta estetik beklentilerle kliniğimize başvurmuştur. Yapılan intraoral ve radyolojik muayenelerin ardından hastaya tedavi seçenekleri anlatıldı ve hasta isteği doğrultusunda direkt kompozit veneer uygulanmasına karar verildi. Diş rengi belirlendi ve uygun kompozit rezin seçildi. Dişlerin tüm yüzeyleri %37 ortofosforik asitle pürüzlendirildi ve tüm yüzeylere 2 aşamalı total etch adeziv sistem uygulandı. Kompozit, dişlerin doğal konturlarına ve bitiş çizgilerine uygun şekilde yerleştirildi ve tedavi tek seansta tamamlandı. Daha sonra restorasyonların yüzeyleri özel bitirme frezleri ve polisaj diskleriyle düzenlendi. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı, kama laterallerin direkt kompozit veneerlerle estetik bir şekilde tedavi edilmesini amaçlamaktadır.
