Swot Analysis, Visual Quality Assessment, Preferences of Tourism Facilities and Tourism Facilities' Conditional Analysis for Tourism and Recreational Strategies: Case Study for Beysehir Province.

Abstract

The increasing touristic demand together with the commercial developments supported by the improving tour-ism sector, the rapid increment of the population and the unplanned urbanization have gradually been causing more harm to natural and cultural resources in our country. The number of national and international congress have been held in order to hinder this situation, and decisions have mutually been taken on preserving the environment not having to a degree of harmless that can not be restored. Furthermore, the use of lands should be limited in a convenient way. Thus, it will be possible to preserve the flora and fauna, which possess a special, endemic and rare habitat. The histor-ical and cultural inheritances, which should not be influenced negatively, will also be able to be hindered and protected, and ensured to be transferred to the future generations. On the research area, between the years 1999-2002 SWOT analysis, visual assessment, tourism facility ratings have been realized. This analysis provides a description of the current status of tourism in the study area. As a result, a very diversed tourism product or tourism potential of Beysehir and its surroundings was been noticed. These are all highly potentialed and important usages. Their market value as well high. This procedure was based on the opinions and observations of personal which was subjective. This information was obtained from the workshop participants and researcher (district municipality president, public foundation, local people, tourists and land survey studies, observa-tions and professional experiences), who were interviewed one-on-one. Determination studies are made on simplified province maps, expectations and thoughts of studied peoples are taken as preferred, and shaped with professional experiences

Turizm ve Rekreasyon Stratejileri İçin Swot Analizi, Görsel Kalite Değerlendirmesi, Turizm Tesislerinin Beğenilirliği ve Turizm Tesisleri Durum Analizi Uygulaması: Beyşehir İlçesi Örneği

Abstract

Ülkemizde artan turizm talebi, bununla birlikte gelişen turizm sektörüne dayalı ticaretin ilerlemesi, hızlı nüfus artışı ve sağlıksız kentleşme, gün geçtikçe doğal ve kültürel değerlere daha fazla zarar vermektedir. Bu durumu engelleyebil-mek için, ulusal ve uluslararası pek çok toplantı yapılmış ve çevre koruma konusunda ortak kararlar alınmıştır. Bu anlamda amaç, çevrenin geri dönülmez biçimde zarar görmesinden önce, kullanımını uygun bir biçimde sınırlandır-maktır. Böylece, endemik, ender ve özel bir habitata sahip flora ve fauna değerlerini güvence altına almak mümkün olacaktır. Aynı zamanda, tarihi ve kültürel mirasın olumsuz etkilenmesinin önlenmesi, korunması ve gelecek nesillere aktarılması sağlanabilecektir. Araştırma alanında 1999-2002 yılları arasında SWOT analizi, görsel değerlendirme analizi, turizm tesisleri du-rum analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu analizler çalışma alanındaki turizm durumunu ve tanımını ortaya koymuştur. Sonuç olarak Beyşehir yöresinin çok çeşitli turizm ürünü yada potansiyeli olduğu açığa çıkmıştır. Bunlar yüksek öneme ve potansiyele sahip kullanımlar olup pazar değerleri yüksektir. İzlenilen süreç kişisel ve öznel görüşlere dayanır yani sübjektiftir. Bu bilgiler; ilçe ve belde belediye başkanları ve yetkilileri, ilçe ve belde kamu kuruluşları, yerel halk ve tu-ristlerle yapılmış olan karşılıklı görüşmeler; yöre için veya benzer alanlar için daha önce yapılmış olan çalışmalar ve mesleki deneyim, arazi sörvey çalışmaları ve yerinde yapılan gözlemler sonucu oluşturulmuştur. Bilgiler katılımcılarla birebir görüşmeler yapılarak elde edilmiştir. Tespit çalışması basitleştirilmiş ilçe haritası üzerinde yapılmış, çalışmaya katılan kişilerin beklentileri ve düşünceleri ön planda olmak üzere, mesleki deneyimle şekillendirilmiştir
