The Problems and Solution Suggestions on Bean Cultivation Iin Konya
Abstract
The objective of this study is to determine and solve the problems as to bean cultivation in Konya province (Konya center Akşehir, Çumra, Sarayönü, Beyşehir, Altınekin, Karapınar ve Ereğli) during in 2006. To this end, 73 farmers, selected ran-domly, were a asked questions regarding bean cultivation and the results obtained were evaluated in percent ratio. purpose, as chosen randomly 73 farmers were asked questions deal with bean cultivation and results evaluated as percent ratio. According to the results, it has been determined that the farmers are inefficient in seed, fertilization, irrigation, in controlling the diseases and pests. As with all plants, cultivation techniques have favorable on unfavorable impact on the productivity and quality of bean. Thus, it seems to be necessary that the farmers should be provided with essential knowledge to help them to eradicate all these unfavorable outcomes.
