Abstract
Bilimsel deliller iklim değişikliğinin, gezegendeki yaşam üzerinde artan bir etki oluşturduğunu işaret etmektedir. İklim değişikliğinin etkilerinden bazıları, kurak olan bölgelerin daha kurak olacağı, yağışlı bölgelerde ani ve yoğun yağış olaylarının artacağı, tüm bölgelerde yağış rejiminin değişeceği, mevsimlerin değişeceği, sıra dışı olayların sayısının ve şiddetinin artacağı şeklinde sıralanmaktadır. Bu süreçler, gelecekte ortaya çıkacak bir şey değildir, bunlar bugün yaşanmaktadır. Hayvansal üretimde ise bunun en önemli etkileri üretimin miktar ve kalitesinde azalmalar, hastalık ve zararlılara hassasiyetin artması, üreme döngüsünün değişmesi, doğumda kayıplar, yemin ürüne dönüşümünde gerileme olarak sıralanabilir.
