Formation of Siderophore in Fungi
Abstract
Iron, is the fourth most available element in the world, however it is found as chemical compounds with other atoms. Fort his reason, in plants a complex system is needed for iron uptake to to use it for various duties. Fungi have devel-oped so intresting molecules that named as siderophores. in order to uptake extracellular ıron. For proper maintaining the balance with iron deficiency and toxicity a fine adjustment of systems for iron uptake and storage is needed. There are different systems for iron uptake, storage and regulation both in a funfal species and and between fungal species. Recently, siderophores have been considered very important not only for pathogenicity of fungi on plants and animals but also to maintain fungus-plant simbiotism.
