The Effects of Different Based Fertilizer Kinds on Yield, Yield Components and Quality of Hybrid Dent Corn
Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effects of different based fertilizer kinds on yield, yield components and quality characters of “OSSK-602” hybrid dent corn variety in Konya-Ilgın ecological conditions in 2005. The experiment design was “Randomized Complete Block” with four replications. In the research, 15 based fertilizer kinds were applied on the maize. The “20.20.0” and “10.20.20.+6S+Zn” based fertilizer kinds were gave the maximum grain yield with 13280 kg ha-1 and 13240 kg ha-1 respectively. Grain yield, grain number per ear, grain weight per ear and 1000 kernel weight were significantly affected by different based fertilizer. The results show that the effects of basic fertilization that contain N, P, K and micro nutrients has to be correlated with based on soil properties.
