Abstract

Community gardens are small plots of land used by cultivators in their leisure time for the production of fruit, vegetable and ornamental plant crop. Community Gardens have recreational, ecological, social, economical and educational functions. This study was conducted to lead new studies by supplying alternative area presentation in urban open and green area studies and considering the stages of landscape design process for a sample community garden in Konya Province.

Peyzaj Tasarım Süreci Kapsamında Konya Kenti İçin Yeni Bir Hobi Bahçesi Oluşturulması

Abstract

Hobi bahçeleri kentte yaşayanların boş zamanlarında daha çok meyve, sebze, süs bitkileri üretiminde kullandıkları küçük tarım parselleridir. Hobi bahçelerinin rekreasyonel, ekolojik, sosyal, ekonomik ve eğitsel açıdan pek çok işlevleri bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma kentsel açık ve yeşil alan çalışmalarında alternatif alan tanıtımı sağlayarak, yapılacak yeni uygulamalara ışık tutmak amacıyla Konya kenti için örnek bir hobi bahçesi peyzaj tasarım süreci aşamaları dikkate alınarak gerçekleştirilmiştir.
