Ekmeklik Buğdayda Bor Toksitesine Dirençlilik Kazandırabilecek Genetik Kaynakların Belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma kontrollü sera koşullarında farklı seviyelerde uygulanan bor dozlarına yabani buğday türlerinin tepkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tesadüf parsellerinde faktöriyel deneme desenine göre üç tekerrürlü olarak kuru-lan denemede, 19 adet yabani buğday genotipine bor üç farklı seviyede(0, 2.5,10 mg kg-1) uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmamızda Anadolu kaynaklı yabani buğday türlerinin yüksek dozlarda bora toleransları ele alınmış ve B birikimi bakımından çok geniş bir varyasyonun varlığı gözlenmiştir. B toleransında bugün hakim olan bilimsel anlayışa göre toleransı yüksek olan genotip boru daha az almakta ve biriktirmektedir. Bu bağlamda, D genomu progenitörü olan Triticum tauschii’nin ekmeklik buğdaya B toleransı kazandırabilecek genetik mekanizmaya sahip yabani buğday genetik kaynağı olduğu görülmektedir. Bu türün ayrıca birçok biyotik ve abiyotik streslere karşı dayanıklı olduğu da bilinmektedir.

Abstract

This study was conducted within a controlled glasshouse in order to determine the reactions of wild wheat varieties in response to different boron (B) dosages. The experiments were laid out in a three factor completely randomized design, with 3 replications where 0, 2.5 and 10 mg kg-1 B treatments were evaluated. In our current study, tolerance potentials of Anatolian originated wild wheat varieties were handled and a high level of variation was determined in terms of B accumulation. Current scientific understanding denotes that genotypes more tolerant to excess B acquire and accumulate less B within their tissues. On this respect, from the wild wheat genetic resources, the D-genome progenitor Triticum tauschii harbours tolerance mechanism to support B-toxicity tolerance in bread wheat. This species is also known to be resistant against a number of different biotic and abiotic stresses.
