Reduced Tillage and Direct Seeding Applications in Wheat Production

Abstract

In this study conducted in Polatlı farm, three different applications in wheat production were used. These are conventional tillage, reduced tillage and direct seeding application. The specific draft forces of equipments used in applications were measured. The effects on penetration resistance, surface roughness, total fuel consumption, plant emergence and yield of applications were examined. The biggest and least fuel consumptions were obtained in conventional appli-cation (5.15 l/da) and direct seeding (0.91 l/da), respectively. 2007 and 2008 years of yield values were found 121.40-255.86 kg/da for conventional apply, 108.85-223.60 kg/da reduced tillage and 104.15-230.41 kg/da for direct seeding application, respectively.

Buğday Üretiminde Azaltılmış Toprak İşleme ve Direk Ekim Uygulamaları

Abstract

Polatlı tarım işletmesinde yürütülen bu çalışmada, buğday üretiminde 3 farklı uygulama kullanılmıştır. Bunlar, geleneksel toprak işleme, azaltılmış toprak işleme ve direk ekim uygulamasıdır. Uygulamalarda kullanılan ekipmanların özgül çeki kuvveti gereksinimleri ve uygulamaların toprağın penetrasyon direncine, yüzey düzgünsüzlüğüne, toplam yakıt tüketimine, bitkinin çıkış değerlerine ve verime olan etkisi değerlendirilmiştir. En yüksek toplam yakıt tüketimi geleneksel uygulamada (5.15 l/da), en düşük ise direk ekim (0.91 l/da) uygulamasında elde edilmiştir. Verim değerleri 2007 ve 2008 yılı için sırasıyla geleneksel uygulamada 121.40-255.86 kg/da, azaltılmış toprak işlemede 108.85-223.60 kg/da ve direk ekimde ise 104.15-230.41 kg/da bulunmuştur.
