A Research on The Effects of Some Baits on The Amount of Cray Fish (Astacus leptodactylus Esch. 1823) Trapped
Abstract
This research was carried out in order to investigate the effects of some baits on crayfish trapped from October 9th of 1986 to July 5th of 1987 in Mogan lake. Three different experimental baits used in this experiment as follow: Bran-bread, fish meat and tankage. In the lake, four experimental locations were determined as stations place and 45 traps were left in series in each experimental station. In every station, three different baits were tested in 15 traps at the same time and duration (72 hours). As a total 180 traps were repeated 8 times. There was no significant difference between the baits as far as amount of harvested crayfish concerned (P>0.05).
