Factors Affecting the Success of Transplantation in Large Plants

Abstract

Transplantation of large plants is of great importance in terms of creating a green area covered with developed plants in a short time, preventing the destruction of existing large plants during changes in land use and moving them to another place. However, this process is a technical and costly job that must be done by experienced and skilled personnel. It is necessary to pay attention to certain application principles before and after transplantation for a successful transplantation. These can be grouped under the following headings: Selection of the plant or plants to be transplanted,- Selection of the appropriate time and season for transplantation, Precautions to be taken to prepare plants for transplantation, dismantle them and transport them under suitable conditions. Characteristics and soil characteristics of the area to be transplanted. Preparation of the planting site and factors to be considered when planting plants, Care measures to be taken after planting.
