This study was conducted in growing season of year 1999 in Konya with Asubeni F1, Bertan F1, Nansen F1, Nantura F1, Nantes, Nantes SK-3, and Tito carrot varieties. Seeds were sown in plots with 2.4 m2 area with sowing of (25x3-5) cm on the date of 15th March, 20 th April, 20 th May and 20 th June.
According to the results, the average carrot weights were obtained from Asubeni F1 variety (105.60 g) and aver-age carrot lenghts were obtained from Nantura F1 variety (17.09 g). Extra carrot yield was found from Nantes SK-3 (106.6 kg/ha) and Bertan F1 (97.7 kg/ha) varieties. First class carrot yield were higher in Tito (3309 kg/da), Asubeni F1 (3160 kg/da) and Nantes (3147 kg/da) comparison to varieties.
Total soluble solid contents of Nantura F1 (10.17%), Nantes (10.12%), and Nantes SK-3 (10.22%) were found higher than the other varieties. Total soluble solid contents of carrot sown on 20 th June (7.3%) were the higher than the carrots sown at other sowing times. The content of beta karotene within carrot juice on 20 th June were found the highest in Asubeni F1 variety (3.24 mg/100 ml). The pH of carrot juice on 20 th of june was found the highest in Asubeni F1 variety (6.5). The titreteable acidity of Asubeni F1 (0.30 mg/100 ml) on 20 th May was found the highest.
Deneme 1999 yılında Konya’da Asubeni F1, Bertan F1, Nansen F1, Nantura F1, Nantes, Nantes SK-3 ve Tito ha-vuç çeşitleri ile yapılmıştır. Tohumlar 15 Mart, 20 Nisan, 20 Mayıs ve 20 Haziran tarihlerinde 2.4 m2’lik parsellere 25x3-5 cm sıra arası ve sıra üzeri mesafe ile ekilmişlerdir.
Sonuçta, ortalama havuç ağırlığı Asubeni F1 çeşidinde (105.60 g), havuç uzunluğu ise Nantura F1 çeşidinde (17.09 cm) yüksek bulunmuştur. Ekstra havuç verimi sırasıyla Nantes SK-3 (1066 kg/da) ve Bertan F1 (977 kg/da) çeşitlerinde, I.sınıf havuç verimi ise Tito (3309 kg/da), Asubeni F1 (3160 kg/da) ve Nantes (3147 kg/da) çeşitlerinde yüksek olmuştur.
Ekim zamanlarına göre meyve suyundaki SÇKM 20 Haziran ekimlerinde (%7.3) daha yüksek; beta karoten 20 Haziran ekimlerinde Asubeni F1 çeşidinde (3.24 mg/100 ml); pH 20 Nisan ekimlerinde Asubeni F1 çeşidinde (6.50); titre edilebilir asit 20 Mayıs ekimlerinde Asubeni F1 çeşidinde (0.30 mg/100 ml) diğerlerinden daha yüksek çıkmıştır.
