The Predators and Parasitoids of The Aphid Species (Homoptera: Aphididae) on Poplars in Konya Province of Turkey

Abstract

This research was carried out to determine the predators and parasitoids of aphid species on poplar in Konya Province during 2003-2004. As a result, 22 predator species belonging to 5 families of four orders were determined. Additionally, three samples were only identified in genus level. Among those, Trichopsomyia flavitarsis (Meigen) (Dip.: Syrphidae), Leucopis auraria Tanasijtshuk and Leucopis gallicola Tanasijtshuk (Dip.: Chamaemyiidae) were first record for the Turkish predator fauna. As aphid parasitoids; Adialytus salicaphis (Fitch) and Euaphidius cingulatus (Ruthe) from Aphidiinae (Hym.: Braco-nidae) and Aphelinus mali (Haldeman) from Aphelinidae (Hym.) were obtained. Of the aphid species, Pterocomma populeum (Kaltenbach) for E. cingulatus and Pemphigus immunis Buckton for A. mali were also firstly reported as hosts in Turkey.

Konya İlinde Kavaklarda Beslenen Yaprakbitlerinin (Homoptera: Aphıdıdae) Predatör ve Parazitoitleri

Abstract

Konya ilinde kavakta beslenen yaprakbitlerinin predatör ve parazitoitlerini belirlemek amacıyla 2003 ve 2004 yıllarında yürütülen bu çalışma sonucunda, 9 yaprakbiti türü üzerinde, 4 takım ve 5 familyaya bağlı 22 avcı tür bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, 3 örneğin teşhisi ancak cins düzeyinde yapılabilmiştir. Belirlenen türlerden Trichopsomyia flavitarsis (Meigen) (Dip.: Syrphi-dae), Leucopis auraria Tanasijtshuk ve Leucopis gallicola Tanasijtshuk (Dip.: Chamaemyiidae) Türkiye predatör faunası için yeni kayıttır. Yaprakbiti parazitoiti olarak Aphidiinae (Hym.: Braconidae) alt familyasından Adialytus salicaphis (Fitch) ve Euaphidius cingulatus (Ruthe), Aphelinidae (Hym.) familyasından ise Aphelinus mali (Haldeman) belirlenmiştir. Afit türlerin-den Pterocomma populeum (Kaltenbach) E. cingulatus için, Pemphigus immunis Buckton ise A. mali için konukçu olarak Tür-kiye’de ilk defa kaydedilmiştir.
