The Aphid Species (Homoptera:Aphididae) on Poplars in Konya Province of Turkey

Abstract

After the analyzing of the aphid samples, collected from poplars in 1995-1996 and 2003-2004 in Konya province of Tur-key, 12 species belong to six genus from Chaitophorinae, Pemphiginae, Phloeomyzinae and Pterocommatinae subfamilies of Aphididae were determined. Aditionally, five samples were identified only in genus level. Among those Pachypappa warsha-vensis (Nasonov) (Pemphiginae) was first record for Turkish aphid fauna. Ten species were also first records for Konya pro-vince. The most common species in the province were Chaitophorus leucomelas Koch (Chaitophorinae), Pemphigus bursarius (Linnaeus), P. immunis Buckton, P. vesicarius Passerini and Thecabius affinis (Kaltenbach) (Pemphiginae). In present study, the distribution of the species was cited. Short information about the description, host plants and biology were also given for the new record species.

Konya İlinde Kavaklarda Beslenen Yaprakbiti (Homoptera:Aphıdıdae) Türleri

Abstract

Konya ilinde 1995-1996 ve 2003-2004 yıllarında kavak ağaçlarından toplanan yaprakbiti örneklerinin incelenmesi sonucu Aphididae familyasının Chaitophorinae, Pemphiginae, Phloeomyzinae ve Pterocommatinae alt familyalarına bağlı altı cinse ait 12 tür belirlenmiştir. Beş örneğin teşhisi ise ancak cins düzeyinde yapılabilmiştir. Tespit edilen türlerden 10’ u Konya ili için, Pachypappa warshavensis (Nasonov) (Pemphiginae) ise Türkiye afit faunası için yeni kayıttır. İldeki en yaygın türlerin Chai-tophorus leucomelas Koch (Chaitophorinae), Pemphigus bursarius (Linnaeus), P. immunis Buckton, P. vesicarius Passerini ve Thecabius affinis (Kaltenbach) (Pemphiginae) olduğu söylenebilir. Mevcut çalışmada türlerin yayılışı ile ilgili bilgiler veril-miş, Türkiye için yeni kayıt olan türün ayrıca tanınması, konukçuları ve kısa biyolojisi ile ilgili bilgiler sunulmuştur.
