A Study on The Determination of Tyre Performance Used in Agriculture

Abstract

Agriculture fielt operation of various levels of mechanization are heavily dependent on tractor wheel as a source of traction power. In this study, the computer programme which is based on the model to predict the tyre performance suggested by Plackett and Wismer and Luth, was written. The performance and the maximun soil surface pressure that in maximum Load carrying capacity of using 3 different driving wheel have been predicted for different soil conditions. Changes in soil conditions in- fluence tyre performance much more than change in tyre dimensions.

Tarımda Kullanılan Lastiklerin Performanslarının Belirlenmesi Üzerine Bir Çalışma

Abstract

Mekanizasyonun çeşitli sevilerindeki tarımsal işlemlerin yoğunluğu, çeki gücünün bir kaynağı olan tekerleklere bağlıdır. Bu çalışmada, tastik performansının tahminlenmesinde Plackett ve Wismer ve Luth tarafından önerilen model esas alınarak bir bilgisayar programı hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada, farklı toprak şartlarında ele alınan 3 farklı muharrik tekerleğin, maksimum yük taşıma kapasitelerindeki performansları ve maksimum toprak yüzey basınçları tahmin edilmiştir. Tekerlek performansı üzerine toprak koşullarındaki değişim, lastik ölçülerindeki değişimden daha fazla etkili olmuştur.
