A Comparasion of Some Methods in Used For Determining of Terminal Velocities of Different Crops

Abstract

Terminal velocities is very important parameter for pneumatic conveying, cleaning, classification of agricultural materials and the designing of cutting and threshing machines. In this study, terminal velocities of some seed crops are determined by experimentally, theoretically and estimation methods. According to the results, the relative error of theoretical terminal velocities is found for lentil 0.17% and for chickpea 21.7%, the relative error of expected terminal velocities for lupine 1.35% and for Hungarian vetch 20.93%.

Farklı Daneli Ürünlerin Son Hızlarının Belirlenmesine Ait Bazı Yöntemlerin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Daneli ürünlerin son hızları; pnömatik iletimde, temizlemede, sınıflandırma, hasad ve harman makinalarının projelendirilmesinde kullanılan önemli bir parametredir. Bu çalışmada, bazı daneli ürünlerin son hızları; deneysel, teorik ve tahmin yöntemleriyle belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre teorik son hızın nispi hatası, mercimekde % 0.17, nohutda % 21.7, tahmini son hızın nispi hatası lüpende % 1.35 ve Macar fiğinde % 20.93 olarak bulunmuştur.
