This research was conducted to determine the effects of different nitrogen doses on the fatty acid composition of summer rapeseed variety Westar which adapted in Konya conditions. In this research, fatty acid composition of grain which was obtained from plats applied 0, 7, 14 and 21 kg.da-1 nitrogen was examined gase chromatographic method. According to the by results, linoleik, linolenic and erusic acid were maximum (37.53%, 13.34%, 2.49%) while oleic acid was minimum level (29.59%) at N 14 doses. The fatty acid rate was different also at other nitrogen doses.

Bu araştırma Konya koşullarına adaptasyonu denenmiş Westar yazlık kolza çeşidinin yağ asitleri kompozisyonuna farklı N dozlarının etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmada., dekara 0, 7, 14, ve 21 kg azot uygulanan parsellerden elde edilen danelerin yağ asidi bileşimi gaz kromatografik yöntemle incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda N14 dozunda; oleik asit minimum seviyede (% 29.59) olurken, linoleik, linolenik ve erusik asit maximum seviyede (% 37.53, % 13.34, % 2.49) gerçekleşmiştir. Diğer azot dozlarında, yağ asitleri oranı değişik olmuştur.
