Th e excavations in Olba Monastery reveal the importance of the city in the Early Christian Period. Th e excavations at the monastery in 2018 working period are executed at the place of “refectory” which is suggested for the fi rst time by this study. Th e refectories in the monasteries known as “agape” are the places in which common eating activity is fulfi lled and religious ceremonies are ended. Th e part which are proposed as a “refectory” by this study off er similarities with the cafeterias of Early Christian Period within the context of architectural form and location. Four rooms of rectangular-square shaped elongated spaces are a reason for our suggestion as a result of excavations. Additionally, various archaeological daily life materials found in these rooms make us think that this section is a refectory. It is envisioned that the continuation of space series will come within the advancement of the relevant excavations
