REKONSTRÜKSİYON YAPILAN MEME KANSERİ HASTALARINDA HEMŞİRE LİDERLİĞİNDE KOÇLUK PROGRAMININ ÖZ BAKIM GÜCÜ VE YAŞAM KALİTESİNE ETKİSİ : RANDOMİZE KONTROLLÜ BİR ÇALIŞMANIN PROTOKOLÜ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu makalenin amacı meme kanseri nedeniyle meme rekonstrüksiyonu geçiren hastalara yapılan hemşire liderliğinde koçluk programının hastaların öz bakım gücü ve yaşam kalitesine etkisini inceleyen randomize kontrollü bir araştırmanın protokolünü sunmaktır.
Yöntem: Araştırmanın Şubat 2025 – Aralık 2025 tarihleri arasında Gazi Üniversitesi Sağlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi ve Ankara Etlik Şehir Hastanesi’nin Plastik ve Rekontrüktif Cerrahi Klinikleri’nde meme rekonstrüksiyonu ameliyatı geçiren 60 hasta (30 kontrol-30 deney) ile randomize kontrollü klinik araştırma olarak yürütülmesi planlanmaktadır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında Tanıtıcı Bilgiler Formu, Öz Bakım Gücü Ölçeği ve EORTC QLQ-C30 ve QLQ-BR42 Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçekleri kullanılacaktır.
Sonuçlar: Bu makale, randomize kontrollü deneysel çalışma için bir araştırma protokolüdür. Çalışma verileri toplanıp analiz edildikten sonra bulgular açıklanacaktır.
Tartışma: Meme kanseri nedeniyle meme rekonstrüksiyonu geçiren hastalara yapılan hemşire liderliğinde koçluk programının hastaların öz bakım gücünü ve yaşam kalitesini artıracağı düşünülmekte ve değerlendirilmektedir.

THE EFFECT OF A NURSE-LED COACHING PROGRAM ON SELF-CARE AGENCY AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN BREAST CANCER PATIENTS UNDERGOING RECONSTRUCTION: PROTOCOL OF A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to present the protocol of a randomized controlled trial examining the effects of a nurse-led coaching program on the self-care agency and quality of life of patients undergoing breast reconstruction due to breast cancer.
Methods: The study was planned to be conducted as a randomized controlled clinical trial with 60 patients (30 control, 30 experimental) who underwent breast reconstruction surgery at the Gazi University Health Research and Application Center and Ankara Etlik City Hospital Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinics between February 2025 and December 2025. Data will be collected using the Introductory Information Form, the Self-Care Agency Scale, and the EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR42 Quality of Life Scales.
Results: This article is a research protocol for a randomized controlled experimental trial. Findings will be released after study data are collected and analyzed.
Conclusion: It is thought and evaluated that a nurse-led coaching program for patients undergoing breast reconstruction due to breast cancer will increase the patients' self-care ability and quality of life.
