Year 2019, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 291 - 316, 31.12.2019

Abstract

Betimsel analitik yöntem kullanılarak yapılan bu araştırmanın amacı, İran'daki Şii tarih çalışmalarında Nümizmatik'in rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu araştırmanın sonuçları Nümizmatik'in Şii tarih araştırmalarında etkili bir rol oynadığını göstermektedir.

Numismatic, as one of the most important historical documents, plays an important role in understanding the religious developments in history. This article focuses on the study of Numismatic in the Historical Studies of Shiism in Iran (from 2th to 10th century AH). Based on this, the role of Numismatic in "Introducing new comments in Shiite history", "Explaining the religious policies of the Shiite governments", "Determining the religious tendencies of Shiite rulers", "Revealing religious changes (from Sunnism to Shiism)" and "Determining the time of the rulers who have tendency for Shiism" has been investigated and some examples have been provided for each. The aim of this study, which is conducted by using descriptive-analytical method, is to reveal the role of Numismatics in Shiite history studies in Iran.
