Abstract
What makes human beings different from other beings is the intelligence and thus the ability to be educated. For this reason, in Qur’an that starts with the holy order of “Read”, in many verses, it is recommended to think of, to take advice, to have knowledge. For this reason, the Quran education, which has a very important place in the life of Muslims, has reached today by changing both in terms of the institutions it is taught and in terms of method, with the changing needs of human beings, developing technology and living conditions. With the recent developments in technology and in particular after the Pandemic, which became a part of everyday life since 11 March 2020, Qur'an education is also moved to synchronous/asynchronous online education portals along with other educations. In this sense, our research has dealt with the "Online Qur’an Education in Ten Hours" method, which is different from other studies in the literature because it is the first synchronous/asynchronous online Qur’an education method in Turkey and it guarantees its students to read the Qur’an in a short time like 10 hours. In the research, findings obtained through a semi-structured interview made with the participants who attended the training that was announced through social media. At the end of the research, the statement of almost all participants that they can read the Qur'an in a short time like 10 hours obviously shows that the expected goal in education is achieved. In addition, although most of the participants find face-to-face education more effective, they also state that online education can be the alternative of the face to face education. In addition, in the research, some inferences and advice are given about “Online Qur’an Education in Ten Hours”, based on different Qur’an education methods and the participants’ opinions.
