Abstract
Koroların müzikal başarımları açısından prova verimliliği büyük önem taşımaktadır. Belli zaman ve insan kaynağı çerçevesinde maksimum sonucu almak, ancak elde bulunan kaynakların en verimli şekilde kullanılmasından geçer. Bu açıdan bakıldığında prova metotları başlı başına koro şefinin çalışma biçimini belirleyen ve aldığı sonuçları etkileyen bir araçlar bütünüdür. Bunun yanı sıra koronun kurumsal devamlılığını sağlayacak uzun vadeli bir prova takvimi planlamak ve koro üyelerinin öğrenme sürecini en iyi etkileyecek şekilde her bir provanın içeriğini tasarlamak da koro şefinin verimlilik açısından dikkate alacağı noktalar arasındadır. Doğru kullanılan bir şeflik tekniği, provayı kolaylaştırıcı önemli bir unsur olabilir. Korolardaki temel materyal insan olduğu için motivasyon, iletişim ve disiplin gibi insan faktörleri de verimliliğe büyük etki etmektedir. Son olarak da koro provasının ayrılmaz bir parçası olan ısınma, bir provadan alınabilecek sonuçları ciddi oranda değiştirebilir. Bu çalışmada tüm bu faktörlerin verimliliğe etkisi araştırılmakta ve sorgulanmaktadır.

Abstract
Rehearsal efficiency plays a crucical role on the musical achievement of a choir. A group of people can only generate the maximum output within the limitations of certain time and human resources, when they are utilised efficiently. Thus, rehearsal method is a collection of tools that has a tremendous effect on the working habits of a conductor and the results he/she will get. Apart from that, planning a long-term rehearsal plan for the corporate continuity of the choir and designing the content of each rehearsal so that the singers can get the maximum learning experience, are also important points the conductor should consider. A right way of using the conducting technique can help the rehearsal process a lot. Since the fundamental material of the choirs are human beings, one should not neglect human factors like motivation, communication and discipline. Lastly, the warmup, as an inseperable part of the rehearsal, can change the results of a rehearsal process to a big extent. In this study, the effects of these factors to the efficiency are examined and questioned.
