Anoplasty operation under general anesthesia for anal atresia was planned for a 2-day-old baby with Pierre-Robin syndrome (PRS). Baby was born on term (39 weeks, 2740 gr) by C/S with APGAR score at 1st and 5th minutes of 9 and 10, respectively. Birth weight was 2740 grams. Suckling throughout the examination of the patient developed spontaneous cyanotic spells and soft palate cleft and micrognathia were diagnosed. The patient was diagnosed as PRS and as he had anal atresia anoplasti was planned under general anesthesia. We aim to present the difficulties of airway management of the patients with PRS by this case report.
Pierre Robin Sendromlu (PRS) 2 günlük yenidoğanda anal atrezi nedeniyle genel anestezi altında anoplasti operasyonu planlandı. Termde (39 haftalık, 2740 gr), sezaryanla doğan bebeğin 1. ve 5. dakikada APGAR skoru sırayla 9 ve 10'du. Emme sırasında spontan morarma gelişen hastanın yapılan muayenesinde mikrognati ve yumuşak damak yarığı saptandı. PRS tanısı alan hastada aynı zamanda anal atrezi bulunduğu gözlendi ve genel anestezi altında anoplasti yapıldı. Bu olguda PRS' lu hastalarda hava yolu yönetiminde ortaya çıkabilecek güçlükleri tartışmayı amaçladık.
