Abstract

Testis torsiyonu skrotal ağrı ve şişlik etiyolojisindeki en sık karşılaşılan üç akut skrotum tablosundan birisidir. Spermatik kordun kendi etrafında dönmesiyle ortaya çıkar. Tanı anamnez, fizik muayene ve radyolojik görüntüleme ile konur. Torsiyon sonrası testiküler infarktan kaçınmak için en kısa zamanda tedavi yapmak gerekir. Bu yazıda üç aylık bir bebekte spontan olarak gelişen ve orşiektomi ile sonuçlanan bir olgu sunularak konuya dikkat çekilmek istenmiştir.

The three-month infant testicular torsion: a rare case

Abstract

Testicular torsion is one of the three most common acute scrotal events with scrotal pain and swelling. Testicular tortion occurs with spermatic cord twisting about itself. To avoid testicular infarction, it is mandatory to intervene as quickly as possible after the diagnosis of testicular torsion done either by history or radiologic evaluation. We are now presenting a three months old baby case whom had spontaneous torsion and then gone under orchiectomy.
