Abstract

Rotavirüs beş yaş altı çocuklarda akut gastroenteritin en
sık etkenlerinden birisidir. Genellikle gastrointestinal sistemi etkilese de,
pnömoni, ekzantem, hepatit, nötropeni, konvülziyon, miyokardit gibi
extraintestinal komplikasyonlara da sebep olabilmektedir. Bu yazıda, rotavirüs
gastroenteriti sırasında afebril konvülziyon geçiren ikiz kardeşler
sunulmuştur.
