Konaklama ve Yiyecek Hizmetleri Alt Sektörünün Finansal Performansının Dupont Finansal Analiz Sistemi Kullanılarak İncelenmesi

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the financial performance of "Accommodation and Food Services Sub-Sector" for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 with the help of Central Bank of Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Company Accounts by using of "DuPont Analysis Technique". Because of analysis of the industry's sales, the assets and return on equity was positive in 2010 and 2012, it was found that negative value in 2011. Also it is determined that the industry's costs and expenses are high, asset turnover is not at the desired level and assets of the sector mostly financed by liabilities in this context financial risk is very high.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası (TCMB) Sektör Bilançoları yardımıyla “Konaklama ve Yiyecek Hizmeti Alt Sektörü”nün 2010, 2011 ve 2012 yıllarına ait finansal performansının DuPont finansal analiz tekniği ile incelenmesidir. Analiz neticesinde sektörün 2010 ve 2012 yıllarında satış, aktif ve özsermaye karlılıklarının pozitif olduğu 2012 yılında ise negatif gerçekleştiği saptanmıştır. Yine sektörün maliyet ve gider kalemlerinin yüksek olduğu, aktif devir hızının istenilen düzeyde olmadığı ve sektörün aktif yatırımlarını daha fazla yabancı kaynakla finanse ettiği ve bu bağlamda finansal riskinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir
