Abstract

The purpose of this exploratory research is to identify problems of service staff in the luxury restaurants. A questionnaire developed to collect data, was applied to service staff, work in 24 luxury restauransts in Mersin, between 10 May and 25 May 2013. Totally, 174 completed questionnaires were received from 228 questionnaires (%76,31). As a consequence of straps analysis of scale of identification of problems of servis staff in restaurants, analysis was performed on 143 questionnaires. As a result of factor analysis of the participants answers, service employees’ of luxury restaurants were found to have problems caused by working conditions and managerial issues.
