Abstract
The experiential value scale was also used for a congressional event in this current study. The National Tourism Congress was choosen as a universe for the study and the aim was to endeavour to reveal the relationship between experiential value, satisfaction and academic orientation. Since the National Tourism Congress (14th) attendances were of suitable size, the whole sampling population was used as the sampling method. A Survey tecnique was used to collect the data. 153 (65.1%) congress attendants were requested to complete an on line survey form face to face. Results of the study’s congress experiential value were obtained by using the following dimensions: “esthetics, entertainment, escapism, esteem, education, congressional staff duties, excellence, economic value, social interaction and activity. A moderate level of relationship was found between experiential value, satisfaction and academic orientation
