Year 2025, Volume: 22 Issue: 1, 49 - 63, 27.03.2025

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct the adaptation of Dark Tourism Rituality Scale developed by Sun and Lv (2024) into Turkish. The developed scale will be a preferred scale for Turkish researchers who plan to conduct quantitative research on dark tourism. The data were collected from 318 visitors who visited the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park. For analyzing data, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and validity analyses were carried out using SPSS and AMOS. As a result of the analyses, the two-dimensional structure of the scale was confirmed and the compatibility of the scale into Turkish culture.
